Christie Li, CPIM, CSCP
Has been part of the Canadian Supply Chain industry since 2000 and worked for different employers in the freight forwarding, retail and manufacturing fields.
Christine worked for a freight forwarding company for 10 years as a cargo agent, helping importers and exporters manage the physical flow of their goods.
She then worked in Supply Chain Management positions for Samsung Electronics and Loblaw Company.
Her current job at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technologies is fully involved in vendor managed inventory implementation. As a demand planner, Christine works alongside the sales team, helping to provide a systematic process plan and distribution network design as well as cost and risk analysis related to inventory investment.
She would like to share her experience with fellow APICS members, with the hope that more members will be encouraged to speak at PDMs after attending the presentation.
