In this session, Melanie will be discussing the best ways to present yourself at an interview for careers that are at the beginning to middle stages of their career. She will provide you with how to best present yourself as well as some tips as to what not to do in an interview. Melanie will be presenting for about 15 minutes and then will leave the remainder of the time open to answering your questions.

Melanie is the Founder and CEO of Thrive Recruitment Inc. She began her career in Human Resources in the early 2000s. With over 20 years of recruitment experience in both corporate and agency recruitment, she has sourced and filled roles throughout Canada and the U.S. She also specialized in Supply Chain and Operations Recruitment from 2012-2015 and was one of the Board of Directors with the ASCM (then APICS) from October 2012 to October 2014. Melanie has worked for large, well known brands such as Starbucks, Best Buy and Canada Post, so she understands the needs of large businesses and how they operate. Throughout the years, she has developed strong relationships and operates on a robust referral network that continuously generates repeat business. In 2021, Melanie decided it was time to start her own business, one that she could curate with her years of experience and with her personal touch. Thus, Thrive Recruitment was born!
