ASCM Toronto Book Club: Dr. Efrat Goldratt – Ashlag

Have you ever thought about actually talking to an author that writes about something you are really passionate about?
If you have read the book - a great chance to understand more. If you haven't, that's ok as the author's commentary will be interesting to all. There is no charge for this morning book club but we do need you to register for the Zoom link.
Book Six is called Goldratt's Rules of Flow by Dr. Efrat Goldratt-Ashtag and will be held on Thursday, April 17 from 8:00 - 8:30am Eastern.
Dr. Eli Goldratt wrote about his innovative approach to managing production in his bestseller The Goal. Since its publication in 1984, it is estimated to have been read by 50 million readers (!) and his simple yet powerful principles for managing constraints have proven themselves in numerous implementations around the world.
He published his early thoughts on project management in his book Critical Chain and spent the next couple of decades researching this field. He was planning to write about his eye-opening findings in his next book, but unfortunately, he passed away.
His latest insights, a simple yet brilliant approach to managing projects, remained known only to his close circle. As his daughter and manager of his copyrights, I spent the next 10 years looking for the right person to write this book. Then, finally, I looked in the mirror and realized that person should be me.
